Join us for a day hike of 30KM on Texel Island and treat yourself with the ultimate outdoor experience. This hike is based on our first Island hike of last year, watch here.
Texel Island is an absolute hiking paradise with changing landscapes of sea, dunes and beaches. During this hike you will meet other companions, see outstanding wildlife from close by, hear and feel the whispering wind and touch paved, grass, seashell and sandpaths where we walk approximately 5 km/h. Our first lunchbreak is at 11,5KM. Bring your own waterbottle and backpack.

Questions you might have
Can I talk during the hike and which language are you speaking?
Yes, you are allowed to talk. It will be a relaxing Nature hike where we can talk in English or Dutch.
Are you an official hiking company? / Is this an official hiking event?
No, we are not an official hiking company. We are true nature lovers who are organizing this for the first time. As hiking & filming is our hobby we want to share this beautiful route with you!
What if I get injured during the hike?
You are attending at your own risk. We carry the basics with us like a small first aid kit and some plasters for blisters but we are not professional first aid providers. Please make sure you protect yourself by geting injured by wearing hiking boots and breathable clothing. We are walking on Island's ways with asphalt, shells, sand and grass where the weather can be unpredictable.
Can you share the hiking trail?
Yes, the hiking trail will be available after your registration. It's mapped on your ticket and an online link will be shared so you can already have beginners fun up front!
Can I buy only the hiking trail and walk it alone?
Actually no, if you are only interested in the hiking trail you can write us a message.
How many sanitair stops are there?
There are three sanitair stops: one on Texel boat (beginning), one after 11,5KM during our first lunchbreak, and one at the end around the lighthouse (30KM), from here we take the bus back to the boat where there is also one on the boat again (extra stops available if necessary)
With how many people do we hike?
There are ten spots available on each day. With us we are walking with a group of 12.
How many tickets can I buy in one go?
4 tickets
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay with iDeal/Tikkie when you order the ticket(s).
How do I get to the boat of Texel?
We meet in front of the entrence of the Teso Texel boat. How you get there is your own responsibility. You can look at this website for more info https://www.teso.nl/contact/route-en-adres/
What is your refund policy?
We are arranging things up front which comes with costs and therefore your registration is final after payment, no refunds will be given. If you cannot attend it is possible to transfer your ticket to someone else where you need to notify us by sending an email.
If the weather is stormy it might be that the Teso Texel boat is not going, we have no influence on this which means the Silent Hikers Experience can be cancelled and you will be informed.
What if I come late?
The boat is going on a specific time schedule which we cannot control. Too late = too late to join the hike. Please make sure you are on time.
